AMS Subscriber Safe After Being Pulled from Burning House

On November 8, the home of an AMS subscriber caught fire after being struck by lightning. Operator 510 dispatched the fire department after the call to the premises was not answered. The dispatch occurred within one minute of receiving the alarm.

Firefighters arrived as flames of approximately 100 feet engulfed the home.  Thanks to the homeowners' fire alarm, our operator's quick response, and the heroic actions of the fire department, the subscriber was pulled from their burning home.
