Penny Competition Raises Money for Ronald McDonald House

AMS staff dug deep in their pockets, checked under the seat cushions, and emptied their change jars to raise money for sick children and their families. Teams led by CEO Rick Jolet, CFO Dera Jolet, and Central Station Manager Carrie O'Malley scored points by filling their own jug with pennies and filling opposing teams' jugs with other coins and cash.

When the two week competition ended, the three teams raised $163.24 for the Ronald McDonald house of Northeast Louisiana. Because they finished in third place, Rick Jolet's team made cupcakes, cookies, and baked treats for the office. Dera Jolet's team won the competition. Her team will attempt to defend it's crown this month when teams will buy links and compete to build the longest chain.
